📅 When and Where

  • Date: 13th December 2024
  • Time: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Location: BWA School Grounds
  • Access: Please enter the fair through the 1902 Gate. The usual school gate will be reserved for regular school affairs, such as picking up children from clubs.

Help Us Make the Fair a Success: Volunteer!

The Winter Fair is only possible thanks to the generosity and support of our wonderful volunteers. This year, each class has been assigned a specific stand to manage, and we are asking for a few minutes of your time during the event to help us out.

If you are attending with younger children, volunteering can be as simple as taking turns with another parent to watch your children at one of the activities. Every little bit of help makes a big difference, and it’s a fantastic way to contribute to our school community while having fun!💖

What’s On at the Winter Fair?

🧪 Thrilling Science Shows

Join us for the Sublime Science Show (sublimescience.com), a spectacular experience packed with interactive experiments, amazing demonstrations, and plenty of hands-on fun for children. The show is mainly targeted at year 1 to 6 pupils.

Prebooking required: Get your show tickets online!

Showtimes: 3:45 PM, 4:30 PM, and 5:15 PM
Location: Middle Hall (access via Main Lower Hall stairs, near the bouncy castles)
Tickets: Required for children aged 3 and above. Infants (0–2) and accompanying adult attend for free.

The ticket sale starts Monday 12.01pm

🐴 Pony Rides Under the Fairy Lights

Enjoy a magical pony ride under the enchanting glow of fairy lights in the Front Playground from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

🏰 Double the Bouncy Fun

Not one but two bouncy castles await in the Main Lower Hall, perfect for kids to burn off their holiday energy!

🎁 Second-Hand Toy Store

Browse a wonderful selection of pre-loved toys, all in great condition, at our second-hand toy store hosted by volunteer Year 1 parents.

  • Toy Donations: Accepted on Friday, 6th December and Monday, 9th December. Only toys in good condition, please!
  • Unsold Toys: Remaining items will be donated to FARA Kids, ensuring they go to a great cause.

🍴 Food and Refreshments

Feeling hungry? We’ve got you covered with:

  • Hot Food and Sweet Treats: Hot dogs (inc Vegi), cakes and cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth
  • Beverages: Mulled wine, apple juice, and other hot and cold drinks

🎨 Creative Fun for Kids

Let your children’s imaginations run wild with:

  • Cookie Decorating: A sweet and crafty activity for all ages
  • Face Gems: Add a touch of sparkle to their day
  • Arts and Crafts Table: A space to create festive masterpieces

How to Shop at the Fair

To streamline your experience, we’ll be using money cards for all purchases. Some stands such as food, ponies and of course money cards, accept cards directly. The show tickets need to be bought beforehand.

  • Pre-Sale: Money cards will be available at a stall outside the school on the days leading up to the fair.
  • On the Day: Cards will also be sold at the event near the canteen.
