Dear BWA Families,
We are excited to invite the whole school community to our annual Winter Fair next week on Friday, December 12th! ✨ This is our biggest community event and a vital fundraiser supporting the school’s enrichment programs and helping our school stand out. 🌟
❄️ What to Enjoy at the Fair!
The fair promises festive fun for all ages. Come and enjoy:

🏰 Bouncy Castles
🍪 Biscuit Decorating Station
🎨 Face Decorations
🍬The Tombola (with donated bottles and jars)
🌭 Hot Savoury Food and Hot Drinks
🥤 Cold Drinks and Sweet Treats
🎥 Fairy Light Classroom Cinema: (Featuring Oscar-worthy short films – Seats must be booked in advance at bwapta.co.uk/cinema)
🎟️ How to Pay: Cards & Tickets
To ensure children spend less time queuing and more time having fun, we operate a card system. 💳 We strongly recommend purchasing one Activity Card and one Money Card per child:
1. Activity Card (£9.00) 🎡 Unlimited access to standard fair games plus 3 activity tokens for premium activities (Bouncy Castles, Biscuit Decorating, Arts & Crafts, or Face Decorations).
2. Money Card (£10.00) 💷 This is the way to pay for food, drinks, and some activities.
3. Cinema Ticket (£4.50) 🍿 Required for entry to the Fairy Light Cinema sessions. Must be booked online in advance here: bwapta.co.uk/cinema
⚠️ Note: We will be pre-selling Activity and Money Cards at the school gates in the days leading up to the fair. Please purchase yours in advance to avoid long queues on the day!
🤝 How the Whole Community Can Help
The success of the Winter Fair relies entirely on the generosity and participation of our families. Please consider supporting the school in one or more of the following ways:
- 🙋 Volunteer Your Time
We need help running stalls during easy 45-minute slots at the event. Please arrange your availability now to be able to volunteer!

— - 🧁 Bake and Donate [at drop-off Fri 12/12]
We need homemade or bought cake/sweet treats for the Bake Sale. Individual portions and Christmas-themed would be amazing! No nuts!
— - 🎁 Donate Toys & Bottles/Jars [at drop-off Fri 5/12 and Mon 8/12]
Toys: Donate good condition, pre-loved toys for the Year 2 Second-Hand Toy Store. 🧸
Bottles & Jars: Donate a bottle (e.g., nice oils, soft drinks, soap, cream) or a jar (e.g., sweets, stationary, make-up, jam) for the Tombola stall. No alcohol please. 💄🍬

Please remember that the Winter Fair is a family event, and parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision of their children throughout the entire fair. 👨👩👧👦
