We’re partnering with Art Projects for Schools (APFS) to turn your child’s creativity into beautiful, personalised Christmas cards and gifts. The funds raised through this project are vital for ensuring our school can offer extra resources and opportunities for every pupil!
Step 1: Creating the Artwork
π¨ Reception, Year 1, & Year 2 (English Stream):
Your child will complete their artwork during class time.
No action is required from you for this stepβthe teachers have it covered!
ποΈ Key Stage 2 & Bilingual Pupils (Action Required):
Your child has or will receive the APFS numbered blank page in their bag. Please note the following actions:
- Artwork Creation: Encourage drawing on the blank side of the A4 paper. This is the image that will be printed on the final products.
- Name: On the reverse side, clearly write your child’s name and class in block letters.
- QR Code: DO NOT cover or try to scan the QR code on the template, as APFS uses it internally to track the artwork.
- Template Care: Please keep the page flat and clean (no creases, tears, or stains), as APFS scans the original artwork.
- Design Tips: Use bold colours, fill the page completely, and avoid the very edges (due to the 2-3mm trim). Collages are welcome!
- Final Deadline: Return the artwork to your Class Teacher by Wednesday, October 8th, in the morning.
