Policy Clause on External Guests at the Wreath-Making Workshop
- Definition and Eligibility of External Guests:
External guests are individuals who are not parents, carers, or staff members of Belleville Wix Academy but are invited by primary attendees. The workshop is designed as a community-building event for the BWA community, and, as such, external guests are generally discouraged. - Guest Request and Approval:
Primary attendees may request the inclusion of one external guest per person. Requests for external guests must be submitted via email to bwa.pta@gmail.com before purchasing tickets and at least 48 hours before the event. Approval for external guests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as event capacity and the community-building goals of the event. - Priority of Attendance:
Primary attendees will be given priority if there are capacity constraints. Requests for external guests may not be granted if they compromise the community-focused nature of the workshop. - Responsibility of Primary Attendees:
The primary attendee who brings an external guest is responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guest throughout the event.
